Penang Street Food at New Lane, Penang

Street Foods in Penang is a must try! Foods in Penang is famous with cheap and tasty, which its consider as Food Heaven.

I brought VT to New Lane to taste the local foods. Which its we only have two tummies there are not afford to fill more foods, we only ordered Chee Cheong Fan (猪肠粉), Fried Oyster(蚝煎), Fried Chicken Backside (鸡屁股) and Thong Sui (糖水). Such as a lot of we had missed!

Penang Chee Cheong Fan taste is different from Singapore Chee Cheong Fan. Penang Chee Cheong Fan is served with steamed rice rolls, prawn paste, chili and sesame seeds on top. Singapore type is served with sweet paste, I don't really like.

Crispy Fried Chicken Backside

Thong Sui (Gingko + Lian Zi + Longan), The soup is just nice

VT first try Penang Chee Choeng Fan

I found this quite interesting, when we order food from the stalls they will give us a small tag that state name of coffee shop, name of food and price. Its such a good idea for tourist to easily recognize the food they order. What do you think?

Besides than above foods, you can find varieties of delicious foods over there like Rojak, Penang Curry Mee, Assam Laksa, Pork Intestine Porridge, Satay, Char Kuay Teo, Grill Chicken Wing, Loh Bak and a lot.

Craving all the foods badly right now!!!

Yesterday was my colleague Candy Kong's last day of work at SM Compass Holding. I've had deep impression of her when I first saw her. She is a pretty girl with a pair of charming eyes, She is always gentle and polite, very ladylike and sweet. I will never forget!

It's been nearly one year I've known her since I joined my company, she is from Accounts Department and I'm from Operations Department, I seldom liase with her but we had lunch together once in a while and met during company outings since our office are not the same.

We had lunch together at FoodTalk Hawker Centre, this may be our last lunch outing together during working hours.

Wishing you success in your future endeavors and we will always miss you!

Probably the only one of its kind in the world. Built in 1850, the Snake Temple, also known as Temple of the Azure Cloud or pure cloud temple that is located at Sungai Kluang near Bayan Lepas airport in the Penang Island, is home to both people and some of the most dangerous snakes on Earth. Its a safe haven pits vipers, said to be servants of Chor Soo Kong, the resident deity of the temple. According to legend, Chor Soo Kong, who was Chinese monk and healer, once offer shelter to the snake of the jungle, after the completion of the temple, snakes appeared on their own accord. Unfortunately, nowadays the snake population of the temple of the Azure Cloud has decrease constantly, due to the urbanization of the area which disturbed the natural habitat of snakes.
